Kaya Scodelario

 Kaya Rose Scodelario Davis (nee Humphrey) is an English actress from England. She is well-known for her roles in Effy Stonem's E4 drama Skins (2007-2010 and 2013), as well as Teresa in the Maze Runner movie series (2014-2018). Other roles include Catherine Earnshaw in Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights (2011), Carina Smyth in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017), Carole Ann Boone in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), Haley Keller in Crawl (2019), Katarina Baker on the Netflix original series Spinning Out (2020) and Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021).In 2007 at the age of 14 and lacking any acting experience, Scodelario was cast in the first series of Skins as Effy Stonem. When she auditioned, Scodelario was disappointed because she thought she was too young, however, a producer encouraged that she should stay, and was then asked to read the script for the role. While her role in the first series had only a few lines of dialogue The character she played developed significantly throughout the course of the series.
