Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 the 9th of August, 1985) is an American actress. She has won numerous awards which include an Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards as well as three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award as well as a Tony Award; making her one of the youngest actors to be considered for the "Triple Crown of Acting" and the youngest to be nominated without winning.Kendrick began her acting career in theater productions from an early age. She was the star of High Society, a Broadway musical in which she performed. For her performance she was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in Musical. Her debut film role was in Camp, a musical comedy. She gained fame for her role as the Twilight Saga's star (2008)-2012. Additional recognition was received for her role in the comedy-drama Up in the Air (2008) which brought her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She also earned the honor for her part in the Pitch Perfect series (2012-17).
