Jami Beth Gertz (born October 28 the 28th of October, 1965) is an American actress. Gertz is well-known for her performances in Crossroads, The Lost Boys and Less than Zero, as well her roles in the TV series of the 1980s Square Pegs, and 1996's Twister. She also had the roles of Judy Miller on CBS' Still Standing, and Debbie Weaver on ABC's The Neighbors. Along with husband Tony Ressler, she is an owner of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association.She was discovered during an nationwide talent hunt conducted by Norman Lear and studied drama at NYU. When she was a child actor Gertz was in the first episode of Diff'rent Strokes along with Andrew Dice Clay. Gertz also appeared in the role of Blair's friend, and fellow schoolmate Boots St. Clair on The Facts of Life. Gertz's film debut was in the romance film of 1981 Endless Love.
