George Strait

 George Harvey Strait Sr. (born May 18 1952) is a famous American country music musician as well as songwriter, actor and music producer. Strait is frequently referred to as the "King of Country", and is well-known as a singer, songwriter, actor, and music producer from the United States. His debut single, "Unwound", was released in 1981. It was the first single to be released that marked the mainstream rise of the neotraditional sound. The 1980s saw seven albums from Strait topped the charts for country music. In the year 2000, Strait was named Artist of the Decade by the Academy of Country Music, inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame and received his first Grammy award for the album Troubadour. Strait was the CMA Entertainer Of The Year in 1989, 1990, and 2013.
