Tulsi Gabbard

 Tulsi Gabbard, /'tlsi'gaeb@rd/ was born on the 12th of April in 1981. She is an American politician and United States Army Reserve officer. Gabbard was also the first Hindu member of Congress and the first Samoan American voting member of Congress. Gabbard at the age of 21, was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for 2020 United States presidential election. Then, she was declared an independent in the month of October 2022. Gabbard was part of a field medical unit of the Hawaii Army National Guard while deployed to Iraq from 2004 to 2005. She also served in Kuwait from 2008 to 2009, as an Army Military Police platoon leader. She was a participant in Congress and was vice-chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from 2013 until 2016. In 2016, she resigned to support Bernie Sanders' 2016 Democratic presidential campaign.
