 Michael C. Hall is an American actor with a net worth of $25 million. Michael C. Hall is best known for his character as the infamous serial killer Dexter Morgan on the Showtime series "Dexter" and also for his character in the role of David Fisher on the HBO series "Six Feet Under. "Michael Carlyle Hall was born February 1, 1971, in Raleigh, North Carolina. His mother, Janice (nee Styons) was counselor for mental health and his father, William Carlyle Hall, worked for IBM. His father passed away from prostate cancer at 11 years old. Hall continued his education at Earlham College in Indiana, which is a liberal arts college. Although he initially wanted to become a lawyer, the decision was made not to go to law school when he graduated from college in 1993. Instead, he relocated to New York City, attended New York University and graduated from the graduate acting course there in 1996. He came into contact with performing and acting when he was still a the Ravenscroft school. Through his time at Ravenscroft his choir sang and was a part of productions such as "The Sound of Music", "Oklahoma! " and "Fiddler on the Roof".
