Jeff Bezos

 Jeff Bezos is an American businessman, philanthropist and space explorer who is probably best-known for creating Amazon.com. Jeff Bezos, the founder as chief executive officer, chief operating officer, and president of Amazon.com is also the chairman of its board. In July 2017, he became the most successful person on earth surpassing Bill Gates for the first time. Between October 2017 to January 20,21 his wealth was the highest on the planet. At one point, he owned the equivalent of 80 million shares in Amazon. In the agreement to divorce in April with MacKenzie Bezos, Jeff transferred 19.7 million shares to his ex-wife. The value of shares at the time of transfer was $36 billion. The settlement temporarily decreased Jeff's net worth from $150 billion to $114 billion. Jeff was also a pre-IPO investor of Google.com and has at least $1 billion worth of shares in the company now known as Alphabet Inc.This was before the divorce, so he owned the equivalent of 80 million shares. Jeff's net worth hit the record high of $170 billion in that time.
