 Devin Armani Booker (born October 30 in 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Booker is the son of former basketball player Melvin Booker. After playing in the NCAA basketball tournament for one year playing for the Kentucky Wildcats, Booker was picked by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2015 NBA draft, with the 13th overall selection. On March 24 2017 Booker became the youngest player to score more than 60 points in a game, finishing with 70 against the Boston Celtics. Booker, who was 22 at the at the time, became the youngest NBA player to play consecutive 50-point games. He is a three-time NBA All-Star and helped the Suns make it to the NBA Finals in 2021. Booker has won an Olympic gold medal for the 2020 U.S Olympic team in Tokyo.
