He began his education at Brambletye School, West Sussex. After graduation from Brambletye school in West Sussex. Cumberbatch was a student at the famous Harrow School where he participated in numerous Shakespearean plays. At the age of 12, the actor made his debut in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Cumberbatch took his time before college to volunteer as an English teacher in the Tibetan monastery in India. After having graduated from the University of Manchester where he was a Drama student and Music, he pursued his studies at Yale. After that, he went on to pursue studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
