Nick Cannon

 Nicholas Scott Cannon (born October 8, 1980) is an American television host as well as actor, rapper and comedian. Cannon started his television career when he was a teenager, with All That. He then became the host of the show The Nick Cannon Show and Wild 'n Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, The Masked Singer, and The Nick Cannon Show. He was a part of the films Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce. As a rapper he released his debut self-titled album in 2003 with the hit single "Gigolo" which was a collaboration with the singer R. Kelly. In 2007, he played the role of the fictional football player TJ Harper in the film Goal II: Living the Dream. In the year 2006, Cannon recorded the singles "Dime Piece" and "My Wife" for the planned album Stages, which was never released.Cannon was born on the 8th of October 1980, in San Diego, California. Cannon was raised by his paternal grandfather , whom was also his father who called "dad". Cannon was brought up in the Lincoln Park's Bay Vista Housing Projects as an infant. It is a gang-infested area of Southeast San Diego. In his teen years Cannon was part of the "Lincoln Park Bloods" street gang, but said that he resigned his gang affiliations following the loss of a close friend.
