Lindsay Dee Lohan (/'loU. LOH-@n's birth date: July 2, 1986)is an American actress and singer. Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Lohan was signed to Ford Models at the age of three. After appearing as a regular on the television soap show Another World at age 10 Her breakthrough came with the Walt Disney Pictures film The Parent Trap (1998). Its success led to her appearances in television's Life-Size (2000), Get a Clue (2002) as well as large-screen films Freaky Friday (2003) and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). Her early work helped earn her fame. The teen comedy smash Mean Girls (2004) established her as an icon. She was also featured in the TV films Life-Size (2000) and Get a Clue (2002). Lohan was also a triple threat when she signed with Casablanca Records, releasing two studio albums, including the platinum-certified Speak (2004) as well as the gold-certified album A Little More Personal(Raw) (2006). Herbie: Fully Loaded (2006) and Just My Luck (2006) were her other roles.
