Farrah Leni Fwcett, born Ferrah Leni Fwcett on February 2, 1947 and died on June 25 in 2009. She was an American actor. Four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee and six-time Golden Globe Award nominee, Fawcett gained international recognition as she played a lead part in the very first season of the television show Charlie's Angels.Fawcett began her career in the 1960s playing commercials and guest roles in television. She was a regular on several TV shows in the 1970s along with Lee Majors, her husband, who was a TV and film actor. Six million copies of her iconic red swimsuit poster were sold in the initial year of printing. Fawcett's breakthrough role was the role of private investigator Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angels that co-starred Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. All three actresses rose to stardom in the show. Fawcett left Charlie's Angels after appearing in the premiere season of the show in 1976.
