Danielle Colby (born December 3 1975) is an American reality TV star who appears on the History reality television show American Pickers.Danielle Colby was born in Davenport, Iowa, and brought up as Jehovah's Witness. By 2004, she had been engaged to Englishman Robert Strong with two children. Colby's television career eventually led to her divorce. WQAD-TV said Colby's "fame" and "notoriety were not easy things for him to manage, and the relationship did not work out. Colby was in Chicago with her family when she attended a burlesque show starring Margaret Cho and Satan's Angel. The experience sparked an interest in becoming an expert in burlesque dancing, after she moved back with her family in the Quad Cities area in Iowa, As of October 14, 2014, Colby owned a burlesque academy known as Dannie Diesel's Bump 'n' Grind Academy located in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.
