Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9, 1985) is an American actress. She has received various accolades such as the Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards and three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and the Tony Award; making her one of the newest people to be considered for the "Triple Crown of Acting" and also the youngest to have done so without winning.Kendrick began her career as an actor in theater productions from a young age. She was the star of High Society, a Broadway musical that she starred in. For this role she was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in Musicals. She made her film debut in the musical comedy Camp (2003) in which she gained notoriety for her role in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). Further recognition came with the comedy-drama Up in the Air (2009) which earned her a nomination for an Academy Award. She was also nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. Kendrick also starred in the Pitch Perfect series (2012-17).
