Ben Affleck

 Benjamin Geza Affleck[b] (born August 15 in 1972) is an American actor and filmmaker. He has been awarded two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and an award called the Volpi Cup (the principal award given to actors at Venice Film Festival). As a youngster actor, he was a part of the PBS educational series The Voyage of the Mimi (1984-1988). Later, he appeared in the independent coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused (1993) and a number of Kevin Smith films, including Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997) and Dogma (1999). Affleck received more attention after he and his childhood friend Matt Damon won the Golden Globe as well as the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the script of Good Will Hunting (1997), which they also starred in. Affleck was then a prominent man in studio films like the disaster film Armageddon (1998) and the war drama Pearl Harbor (192001). Affleck also appeared in the action films The Sum of All Fears and The Sum of All Fears (both 2002).
