 Maria Menounos is a Greek-American actress, journalist, and television presenter who has the net worth of 20 million. Maria Menounos's job as a correspondent on television with Today, Extra and Access Hollywood is the reason she's the most popular. She was born on the 8th of June 1978 in Medford, Massachusetts, to Greek immigrants Costas and Litsa Menounos. Her parents had come to their home in the United States prior to her birth and were employed as janitors at a Boston nightclub. She went to at the Dormition of Mary Greek Orthodox Church growing up. She attended Medford High School. At age 17, Menounos produced"Land of Merry Misfits, "Land of Merry Misfits", an independent film fairy story. In 1995, she began to participate in beauty pageants which she was crowned in 2006. In 2006, she took home the title that was Miss Massachusetts Teen USA. In the following years, Menounos attended Emerson College where she participated in the now award winning organization, Emerson Independent Video. Emerson College was her school of choice. She was employed by Channel One News as a journalist while in college. Menounos 10 minute segments featured many memorable assignments, including the coverage of the earthquakes that struck El Salvador, interviewing NATO crew members in an aircraft as part of Operation Eagle Assist and interviewing George W. Bush.
