Anson Williams

Anson Williams (born Anson William Heimlich on the 25th of September 1949, in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor as well as a singer and director, best known for his role as a well-intentioned, gullible and well-intentione Warren "Potsie" Weber on the show Happy Days (1974-1984), in a role in which he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor - Series Miniseries or Television Film.Unlike Howard and Most, Williams was among the few actors to stay on for the entire run of the series, although his appearances became less frequent in the later seasons. In a few episodes, Richie, Potsie, and Ralph created a band which played at Arnold's Drive-In as well as other locations. Williams sang the lead vocals as Potsie. Williams's former wife Lorrie Mahaffey was the one who sang lead vocals in the group. Williams later returned to Happy Days in a retrospective way.
