Sherry D.Jackson was born on February 15 in 1942. Sherry is an American actress and former child star. Sherry met actor Steve Cochran while she was filming The Lion and the Horse. Sherry was introduced to Montgomery Pittman by Steve, who was a writer. The two began to develop a romance, and Pittman was married Maurita Jackson in a modest ceremony on the 4th of June 1952 in Torrance, California, with Sherry as flower girl and younger brother Gary as the ring bearer. Cochran himself was Pittman's best man. In 1955 Cochran employed Pittman to write the next movie, Come Next Spring, the first of his films that Cochran created himself. Sherry was the role of Cochran's mute step-daughter Annie Ballot. This role was written by Pittman specifically for Cochran.
