American actor Shemar Franklin Moore was born on April 20th, 1970. He is well-known for his roles as Malcolm Winters (1994-2005), Derek Morgan (2005-2016) and Hondo on S.W.A.T. All of this was on CBS. Moore was also the third host for Soul Train, from 1999 until 2003.Moore has been awarded eight NAACP Image Awards as well as the 2000 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series for his work on The Young and the Restless.
