Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. is also known as Scottie Pippen is an American former professional basketball athlete. He was born on on September 25 1965. He was a member of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 seasons, winning six NBA championships together with his team, the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is considered one of the top small forwards to ever play. He played an important part in the development of the Bulls into a championship squad and also in the resurgence of the NBA in the early 1990s. He was a seven-time NBA All-Star, and the NBA All-Star Game MVP for 1994. The Chicago Bulls named him one of the 50 greatest players of the NBA in the 1996-97 season. He is one of the four players to have their jerseys retired by the team (the other three being Jerry Sloan and Bob Love). He was a major player of the Chicago Bulls Championship and the 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship teams and was selected as two of the top 10 Teams.
