 Sandra Annette Bullock (/'bUl@k/ born on 26 July 1964) is an American actor and producer. Bullock, who was awarded an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award in 2010, was the highest-paid actor worldwide. Bullock was awarded numerous awards which included an Academy Award as well as the Golden Globe Award. Bullock was also the highest-paid actor worldwide in 2010 and in 2014. Bullock's role as a supporting actress in Demolition Man (1993) earned her attention at the beginning of her career. After her breakthrough performance in Speed (1994), Bullock was cast in leading roles in the romantic comedy While You Were Sleeping (1995), as well as the dramas Hope Floats (1998) and A Time to Kill (1996). The actress continued to make waves over the next decade through comedies Miss Congeniality (2000), Two Weeks Notice (2002), The Proposal (2009), The Heat (2013), Ocean's 8 (2018), as well as The Lost City (2022); the dramas Crash (2004) and The Unforgivable (2021); and the thrillers Premonition (2007) and Bird Box (2018).
