 Lindsay Dee Lohan, /'loU.@n/LOH-@n[aborn on July 2nd, 1986, in New York City. She is an American actress and singer. At three years old Lohan was signed by Ford Models. At the age of 10, she was the main character on the Another World television soap opera. Her breakout moment came in Walt Disney Pictures' 1998 film The Parent Trap. The film's success led to appearances on TV's Life-Size (2000), Get a Clue (2002) and large-screen films Freaky Friday (2003) as well as Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). Her early work earned her popularity in her youth, while the sleeper hit teen comedy Mean Girls (2004) affirmed her status as a teen star and helped establish her as an Hollywood leading actress.Lohan was recognized as an all-star when she signed with Casablanca Records and releasing two studio albums, including the platinum-certified Speak (2004) and gold-certified A Little More Personal (Raw) (2005).
