Kenneth Arnold Chesney (born March 26 1968) is an American country music musician, songwriter, and guitarist. Chesney has released over 20 albums as well as more than 40 Top 10 singles in the US Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts. 32 of these reached number one. A majority of them have charted within the Top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100, making him one of the top crossover country artists. He has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.Chesney has received 12 Country Music Association Awards (including winning their top Entertainer of the Year honor four times) and eleven Academy of Country Music Awards (including four consecutive Entertainer of the Year awards from 2005 to 2008), as well as six Grammy Award nominations. He is a wildly popular country music touring artist with every venue selling out that he performs at. The 2007 Flip-Flop Summer Tour was the top-grossing road trip in the country of the year.
