Jane Seymour

Jane Seymour (c. 1508 - - 24 October 1537) was the Queen of England as the third wife of King Henry VIII of England from their wedding on the 30th of May 1536 until her death the next year. After Anne Boleyn, Henry's second wife was executed, she became Queen. Two weeks after giving birth to her only child, future King Edward VI, she died due to postnatal complications. She was the only spouse of Henry to attend a queen's funeral or to be buried with Henry at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.Jane wasn't as educated as his first and second wives, Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn. She was able to read and write a little, but was much better in the field of household management and needlework and household management, which were thought to be more important for women. Some of her needlework was exquisite and intricate, while others were not.
