James Edward Franco was born on April 19, 1978. He is an American actor. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his part in 127 Hours (2010). Franco is known for his role in films, including Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002-2007), Milk (2008), Eat, Pray, Love (2010), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Spring Breakers (2012), and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013). Franco is well-known for his collaborations in films and television shows together with Seth Rogen. He has been in eight films and a TV show together, which includes this: Pineapple Express (2008). He was the lead character on the biographical television film James Dean (2001), in which he received the Golden Globe Award, and received nominations for Screen Actors Guild Award and Primetime Emmy Award.
