Jermaine Lamarr Cole (born on January 28th, 1985) is an American musician, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Cole was born at a German military base and raised in Fayetteville. He first gained fame as an artist in 2007 through the release of The Come Up, his debut mixtape. Cole released his debut album of his own, Cole World, The Sideline Story in 2011, as a way to pursue an acting career. The album debuted at the top on the US Billboard 200. [5] Born Sinner (2013) was the next album he released and it topped the Billboard 200. Moving into more conscious themes, 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014) topped the Billboard 200 and earned Cole the Best Rap Album nomination at the 2015 Grammy Awards. 4 Your Eyez Only (2016) is Cole's fourth album that features jazz influences, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. It was released on May 14, 2021.
