Hilary Duff

 Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28th, 1987) is an American actress and singer. Many awards have been given to her such as seven Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards as well as four Teen Choice Awards, and two Young Artist Awards. She began her acting career as a child, quickly being labeled a teen idol, as the title character of the TV series Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004), and in the film that was based on the series, The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003).Thereafter she appeared in numerous mainstream films like Cadet Kelly (2002), Agent Cody Banks (2003), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and A Cinderella Story (2004). Later, she played in independent films in more adult-oriented characters, including War, Inc. (2008), According to Greta (2009), and The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019), which was inspired by the Tate-LaBianca murders. Duff was the star of Kelsey Peters, TV Land's longest-running series Younger. She received two People's Choice Awards nominations for this role. She is the creator and lead of How I Met Your Father, Sophie, as of 2022.
