Barbi Benton

 Barbi Benton (born Barbara Lynn Klein; January 28, 1950) is an American retired actress, model, television personality and a singer. Her appearances in Playboy magazine as well as her role as a regular on the comedy series Hee Haw for four seasons are the most notable. She also released several moderately successful albums in the 1970s. Following the birth of her first child in the year 1986, Benton retired from show business to raise her family.She grew up in Sacramento and attended Rio Americano High School. She received a variety of classes including scuba diving, piano - and even did some "tearoom modeling" during her time at the school. After attending UCLA to pursue a career as a veterinarian, she found it difficult to endure the thought of blood, and decided to start modeling. After graduating high school, she enrolled at UCLA and at the age of 18, landed an opportunity with Playboy as a model for their entertainment program Playboy After Dark. She initially started as an extra on the show, however, when host Hugh Hefner fell in love with Benton, her role was quickly made co-host.
