Barbara Eden

 Barbara Eden, born Barbara Jean Morehead on August 23, 1931 She is an American actor and singer. She is best known for her role as Jeannie on the sitcom I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970). Other noteworthy roles include Roslyn Pierce as Elvis Presley in Flaming Star (1960) as well as Lieutenant (JG) Cathy Connors in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1961) and a widowed mother of one, Stella Johnson, in the film Harper Valley PTA (1978). The film's popularity led to Eden returning to her role as Stella Johnson on Harper Valley PTA (1978). Her first public appearance was in the choir of the church where she sang solos. She performed in local bands led by Howard Fredericks, Freddie Martin as a teen. She also attended theater at City College of San Francisco for a year. Barbara Huffman was her Miss San Francisco 1951 election. She also entered Miss California in 1955.
