Alyssa Jayne Milano (born December 19, 1972) is an American actress. She has appeared in Samantha Micelli in Who's the Boss?, Jennifer Mancini in Melrose Place, Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed, Billie Cunningham in My Name Is Earl Savannah "Savi" Davis in Mistresses, Renata Murphy in Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, and Coralee Armstrong in Netflix's Insatiable.Milano began her acting career at the age of seven when her babysitter, without notifying her parents she took her to auditions for the national touring company of Annie. From more than 1,500 girls they were one of four selected. Through her work in the play, Milano and her mother were traveling for 18 months. Milano came back to New York and appeared in commercials for television. In addition, she played parts in off Broadway productions. This included the American musical version of Jane Eyre. Milano's film debut was in Old Enough, a coming-of-age drama that she called a "great way to start out" in August 1984.
