Anna Kay Faris (/'faerIs/;born November 29 1977) is an American actress from the United States. She rose to prominence for her comedic roles, particularly the lead part of Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie film series (2000-2006). The films she appeared in include The Hot Chick (2002, May (2002) and Lost in Translation (2003). Also, she appeared in Just Friends (2006), My Super Ex Girlfriend (2006), Smiley Face (2008), The House Bunny (2008), and The House Bunny (2008), What's Your Number (2018). (2011), The Dictator (2012) and Overboard (2018). Faris has also appeared in the final season on the show on NBC, Friends (2004). The actress also starred in the CBS sitcom, Mom (2013-2020). Faris has voiced roles in the films Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (1993-2013), Alvin and the Chipmunks (1909-2015) and The Emoji Movie (2017). Her memoir of the same title was released in the year 2015.
